The project Be European - act with pride (beap) involved 6 partners from European and Partners Countries:
Coordinator: Ass. Uniamoci Onlus
Uniamoci Onlus is a non-profit making association whose social aim is to increase social inclusion of young people with disabilities and the awareness of European dimension, the promotion of active citizenship among young people, young people with disabilities and volunteers.
The objectives of Associazione Uniamoci Onlus can be summarized as follows:
- Creation of an inclusive environment where young people and young people with disability can participate to educational and socialization activities, in a group setting and pursuing personalized objectives
- Promotion of volunteering, at a local and an international level, active citizenship, non formal education in a multicultural environment and European mobility for young people, young people with disability, volunteers and professionals in the social field through the implementation of stages abroad, youth exchanges, partnerships and projects about volunteering.
- Support to the young people with disabilities in the development of practical skills that can be spent in carrying out specific tasks in the work of the association and/or in the field of work.
- Realization of positive actions related to the social and cultural promotion at a local level through the implementation of seminars, workshops and international conferences, the realization and diffusion of video-spot, the creation of pubblications and guide-books on the theme of inclusion of people with disability and through the active involvement of volunteers and young people with disabilities in the implementation of local youth initiatives and raising awareness activcities.
Partner 1. Proyecto Kieu
Proyecto Kieu is an NGO focused in Human Rights and Responsible Citizenship. It does work mainly thanks to the implication of its volunteers (local and international), who are involved in every aspect of the organization: management, communication, planning and development of all our activities. Our main activities are related to arts, culture, youth and non-formal education.
La Sagra, our County has a very young population (teenagers and twenty-somethings) and a strong lack of opportunities and activities for them. We cooperate with different associations in our area to promote activities and growth opportunities, personal and profesional development for different groups of people: youngsters, women, ederly, children...
In Erasmus+ (and before in YiA) we look for a way to open and wide our youngsters life options and models, reinforce their active participation in the community and empowerment by internationalizing their involvement in different activities and projects.
PK is an NGO that was born under the principles of social entrepreneurship, basically to creatively solve some of the problems existing in our village for both adults and youngsters. We continuously keep working, learning and adapting to the circumstances glocally, into the frames of Human Rights and Gender Equality.
Partner 2. Equality and Development Center
Equality and Development Center is a non-governmental organization funded in Tbilisi, Georgia. It serves Equality and development of the society and especially in the youth field. Every human being is equal to the individual who is to be directed towards the development, and the idea of EDC is to ensure and provide it coordinately, to facilitate the development of citizenship in the right direction, to raise public awareness of universal human rights and values, to make youth life more interesting, fulfilled and done. The center also supports freedom of expression and other basic human rights and freedoms.
The main aims and objectives are:
✔ To provide equity and development, regardless of the individual skin color, ethnicity, political views, religious beliefs, especially among young people;
✔ To connect with each other active young people and to expand and share ideas and opinions;
✔ To protect primary human rights, to raise civic awareness, development and progress.
✔ To acquire young people's life more dynamic and action, to give them opportunities of a non-formal education, to develop socio-cultural level of people, promoting the condition where they can discover new and extremely interesting aspects of life.
✔ Sharing experiences and impressions, to reinforce a motivation, to combine youth people’s interest considering their individual identity. To expand their knowledge and gain experience, to equip them with capabilities of creativity and multi-profile.
✔ To support cultural and business relationships between different people. This is a precondition for peace and cooperation.
Partner 3. Equality and Development Center
Eruditus is a young organization which was founded by a dynamic and experienced group of people in order to organize events individually or together with other associations in the country and / or abroad for personal or professional education so as to support the growth and development of knowledge-based society. We have an increasing interest in both young and adult education proved by our partnerships with local institutions in which we attract people in volunteering activities.
Our philosophy is that active life allows people to realize their potential for physical, social, and mental well-being, while providing them with adequate protection, security and care. One of our institution’s goals is to reach out to new participants and give as many people as possible the opportunity to experience enjoyable, appropriate and sustainable activities in a safe, friendly, and supportive atmosphere. By taking part in European partnerships we are set to learn more about how personal development and lifelong learning is valued, managed and organised in other countries.
Partner 4. Be Enriched
Be Enriched was founded by a group of youth workers, arts professionals and young people to provide relevant projects and develop non-formal education skills and community cohesion through training and overseas volunteering opportunities. We work with disadvantaged and young people in Greater London, Wales and Glasgow, with European youth organisations, UK communities in a range of activities, projects and initiatives.
Our mission is enrich communities and young people by providing educational, creative and citizenship building opportunities.
We run 4 main schemes

International projects for young people 16-30 in conjunction with youth organisations from round the EU and EEA.
Be Cooking
Training young people how to budget and cook sensibly and without waste
Be Entrepreneurial
Supporting people 18+ to run their own community based and social action projects locally
Be Educated
Supporting children and young people their journey through formal education
We are mainly based in South West London, England and Glasgow, Scotland, but our projects include international ventures with European NGO's and youth organisations
Partner 5. Modern Youth Public Union
Modern Youth Public Union (MYPU) is non-governmental, non-profit organization founded in February 2008 and officially registered in May 2008.
As non-profit organization MYPU’s main activity strategy based on grants, awards by different local and international donors. Since the time of the establishment MYPU successfully co-operated with Youth and Sport Directorate of the Council of Europe, European Youth Foundation, SALTO - YOUTH, Globalfund, Ministry of Youth and Sport etc. The main aim of establishment of MYPU is to contribute active participation of the youth of the country in the international projects and the youth of the world in our country, to arrange new projects, to attract youth position at the social works, to enlighten them, to contribute to the solution of problems that community faces, to improve well-being of vulnerable population. MYPU is active in different areas such as youth, children, education, conflict resolution, human rights, personal development, social inclusion, disadvantaged people and disadvantaged areas, preservation of the cultural heritage, voluntary movement and etc. We believe that things can be better worked out and contributed by the voluntary work. So, we organize voluntary seminars, conferences, meetings, youth exchanges and etc. for this purpose.
During more than 6 years we actively cooperated in the frames of the Youth in Action Programme. We’ve taken part in more than 70 international projects within YIA programme as partner. Since 2014 we organize and participate projects within Erasmus+ programme.
